More Than Just Turkey!!

CookingInstructions for Turkeys

REFRIGERATE TURKEY UNTIL READY TO USE.


  • Preheat oven to 325F.
  • Remove turkey from plastic bag.
  • Remove neck and giblets from inside and rinse turkey with cold water.
  • Stuff turkey (optional) and rub outside with vegetable oil.
  • COOKING TIMES ....

                 3 1/2 hours for 12-16 pounds

                 4-4 1/2 hours for 20-24 pounds.


Baste occasionally during cooking.


We strongly recommend placing a meat thermometer in the joint between leg and breast halfway through cooking. It should read 180F when done.


Allow turkey to cool a short time for good carving.

Heating Instructions for Turkeys

REFRIGERATE TURKEY UNTIL READY TO USE.


  • Preheat oven to 450F.
  • Remove turkey from plastic bag.
  • Keep wrapped tightly in the foil (VERY IMPORTANT!)
  • Place on cookie sheet.
  • HEATING TIMES ....

                 1 1/2 hours for 12-16 pounds

                 2 hours for larger turkeys.


Feel the inner stuffing to make sure it is warm.


FOR FASTER HEATING .... Remove the stuffing and heat separately (it will take less time to heat the turkey without the stuffing inside).


Allow turkey to cool a short time for good carving.
